Jaca has been the first location to attend the conferences of New training mobility approach to meet needs for qualification and social inclusion in the European rural areas. An European project, Rural Needs and Mobile Learning, with the support of the European Commission and Erasmus+ co-funding.

The inauguration was attended by Asunción Dupla, social worker of the dependency area of the Jacetania Region; Antonio Morales, Director of Operations of the Vitalia Group and César Romero, General Manager of San Valero Group, who welcomed everyone and thanked them for their attendance.

Nieves Zubález, director of the International Department of San Valero Group, explained the details of the project promoted by SEAS Estudios Superiores Abiertos, an entity belonging to the San Valero Group, with partners from other European countries such as Portugal, France and Italy. She explained that the project presents a new learning approach aimed at meeting the specific needs related to employment and social inclusion in European areas with a low population density.

Antonio Morales talked about the future of the residences, indicating that it is necessary to move towards a human model, adapting to the needs of the elderly, promoting meeting spaces, apartments and dining rooms for families. In this line, Vitalia's slogan is projected, "to live like in a house with a garden", focusing on transparency and participation, opening the residence to families.

This was followed by a round table discussion with the participation of technical staff, workers, residents and family members, with contributions from the experience and the reality they live in day to day.

The sessions were completed with the possibility of taking the course on Social and Health Care Services for People at Home, developed within the framework of the same project, free of charge.

SEAS mobile classroom will present the project to different locations in the north of Spain, the next appointments are:  Chimillas (Tuesday 18) in the province of Huesca, Teruel capital (Wednesday 19), San Esteban de Gormaz in the province of Soria (Thursday 20) and Cervera de Pisuerga in the province of Palencia (Friday 21).

The conferences will be developed jointly with Vitalia, an entity specialized in the care of the elderly, in the prevention of their physical and cognitive deterioration, and in improving the quality of life of the elderly and their families. They also have the support of local institutions and the endorsement of the European Union.
